i  received a master of architecture degree from arizona state university and a bachelor degree in liberal arts from csu san bernardino. i grew up in corona, california and became a teacher before studying architecture. currently i am a designer and throughout my career i have been involved in the design and construction documentation of hospitality , cultural and healthcare projects throughout the country. currently i am working with a client and developer to oversee the design and construction of various va clinics throughout the nation.

experiences which really shaped the way i approach design were studio trips to japan and mexico, where i explored structures built by toyo ito, tadao ando, sou fujimoto, sanaa and luis barragan. also, my love for teaching allows me to be an active community member, where i participate in mentorship programs with az kids build, asu and career days at a local elementary school.

ultimately, i am interested in the intersections of design, culture, people, nature, art, sustainable architecture and poetics.
